A Cherokee County Christmas tradition will celebrate its 25th anniversary on December 6 when Limestone College presents its annual Christmas on Campus, a night of holiday festivities that included a holiday music performance, the traditional lighting of the luminaries and the College Christmas tree, and a visit from Santa Claus. more

If the Limestone College Luminaries are placed in front of your home, you’re eligible...

For the second annual Limestone College Luminaries Christmas Decorating Contest.
Judging will take place the afternoon and evening of December 5th. Homes along the luminary route will be judged on curbside appeal only. Judges will not enter the property. So, display your Christmas spirit to shine with Limestone’s line of luminaries.
Prizes will be awarded on the evening of December 6 during the College's Christmas on Campus celebrations on the front lawn.

Limestone Social Work Program Joins DSS Education Consortium

Limestone College’s Social Work Program has joined the South Carolina Professional Development Consortium. The Consortium is comprised of all accredited social work programs in educational institutions in the state (U.S.C. Columbia, Winthrop University, South Carolina State University, Coker College, Columbia College, and Limestone College) and is partnering with the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) to prepare workers for public child welfare positions in our state. more
 

Alumna, Professor Emerita Passes

We at Limestone College regret the passing of our dear friend, June Foster.  June graduated from Limestone College in 1955.  After earning her M.A.T. from Emory University, she taught in North Carolina schools before returning to Limestone in 1966, teaching English until her retirement in 1998.  June was awarded Professor Emerita status upon her retirement.  She passed away early Thursday morning at Brookview Health Care Center in Gaffney. more

 

Griffin Honored as Ambassador of Economic Development

Dr. Walt Griffin was honored as an Ambassador for Economic Development by Gov. Mark Sanford and the Department of Commerce as part of South Carolina’s 18th Annual Industry Appreciation Week. The ceremony took place in Columbia on Monday, September 15 at the Governor’s Mansion Complex and highlighted 49 individuals from 46 counties for their exceptional efforts to bolster community and economic development activities in South Carolina. more

International Business Club Begins at Limestone

flagsAn exciting new club has recently been approved by the SGA and the Administration at Limestone College.

The INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS CLUB AT LIMESTONE College grew out of Limestone Professor Dr. Russ Meade’s day and internet classes in Business Law. These classes were blessed to have many students from nations as diverse as Germany, England, Brazil, Paraguay, and Serbia  plus many others.  more

 

 

Limestone College has launched its new athletics website, www.golimestonesaints.com. The site is also available from the College’s main webpage at www.limestone.edu.
