#3 Tim Schavel - Junior - Attack…had three goals and three assists in '97…specialized on breaking rides for the Saints offense… scored five points in one game in last season's regular season finale… is one of the hardest working players on the team…

#4 Kevin Krause - Junior- Midfield …had four goals last season … a quick midfielder who can find the open spot on the crease … had a three-game goal scoring streak in the middle of last season … speed helps him clear the ball and start breaks for the offense… one of several athletes that play soccer as well as lacrosse at Limestone…

#5 Ryan Lanigan - Sophomore - Defense …played long pole midfield as a red-shirt freshman last season… had two assists… his best asset is his ability to pick up ground balls… also has a great ability to clear the ball…will make the move to close defense…his speed and athleticism will give opposing attackmen trouble…

#8 Keith Stevens - Junior - Midfield…a midfielder with great size and speed…saw limited time last season due to an injury…off season rehab and conditioning will bring him in as one of the stronger middies… served as team captain for the Limestone's soccer team…

#9 Bill Criss - Junior - Defense…a tough, hard-hitting close defenseman… his play helped Limestone record its first shutout in team history … however, he has been plagued with injuries which limited his playing time… is healthy now and looks to get time in on defense…

#12 Matt Collins - Junior - Attack …was an All Deep South Conference selection in '97… was second in team points with 21 goals and 17 assists in 11 games… has a cannon with the left hand…probably the hardest shot on the team… has seen limited action for his first two seasons due to an injury…

#13 Shannon Hiteshew - Junior - Midfield…Junior college transfer… played on the 1994 Essex Community College final four team… also played on the 1995 Catonsville Community College final four team…a big strong midfielder with a hard shot…very smart between the lines and creating fastbreaks…

#14 Brian Bauer - Senior - Midfield…has been an All Deep South Conference player for the last two seasons… had a career high twenty goals and seven assists in the '97 season… has played considerable time since freshman year…with his physical play he led the team in '97 with penalties…a quick midfielder with an intense attitude… served as team captain last season…

#15 Joe Hayes - Senior - Attack/Face-off Specialist …Junior college transfer…was a team captain at Hudson Valley Community college…won 59.3% of his face-offs in '97…scored 5 goals in one game late in '97… finished with nine points playing both attack and midfield…

#17 Jon Farr - Senior - Attack …team's leading goal scorer for the past two seasons …had 25 goals and five assists in '97 … also had 25 goals with 11 assists his sophomore season in '96 …played a key role off the bench in his freshman campaign in victories against West Chester and Pfeiffer…

#20 Mike Fernquist - Freshman - Attack…a huge, intimidating force on the attack…uses his 6'5'' 220lbs frame to bull past defenseman…nearly impossible to stop him when he is driving to the goal…will contribute tremendously on the offense…Mike, who hails from Canada, plays in the BC Jr. 'A' Box league.

#23 Mark Collins - Junior - Midfield/Face-off Specialist…Junior college transfer…played on the '94 Anne Arundel Juco Championship runner-up team…had nine goals and four assists in '97…won 67.8% of his face-offs in '97…a big strong midfielder who can deliver vicious hits…

#24 Jesse Crutchley - Freshman - Midfield…a smart player with good strength… also has good vision… skill and versatility allows him to make the switch from attack to midfield… played prep ball at Queen Anne's County High School…

#26 Dan Johnson - Freshman - Attack...joins Limestone for the Spring term...from South River Highschool in Riva, Maryland...will add to the great depth already at attack...

#29 Brent Starling - Junior - Midfield…a big strong midfielder with a very hard shot…scored eight goals and added three assist in '97…had off-season shoulder surgery but will be ready by the spring…a hard working, physical player who carries the load between the lines…

#31 Jeff Willis - sophomore - Defense/Long Pole Midfield…had two goals and one assist as a freshman midfielder… aggressive and physical play has allowed him to move to the long pole position… athleticism has allowed him to excel in the transition…

#32 Brad Nasato - Freshman - Midfield…a strong, quick midfielder…relentless work ethic… one of several players from Canada… hails from Shelburne, Ontario… is quickly making the transition from box lacrosse to the field game…

#33 Dan Voyles - Sophomore - Midfield…Junior college transfer from Catonsville Community College…was a EMO specialist in junior college…a tall, extremely athletic attackman turned into a midfielder…can create space around the crease against any defense…

#34 Mat Wilde - Sophomore - Defense…started 9 games on close defense as a freshmen…a big, strong defenseman who plays will against both the slashing and the physical attackman…looks to deliver big hits and throws heavy checks…

#36 Mike King - Freshman - Midfield…high school attackman turned midfielder…has good speed and great strength…another physical player… showed good field sense for a freshman during the fall… played high school ball at Glen Burnie High School…
