T.W. JOHNSON - HEAD COACH

T.W. Johnson is entering his second year as Head Coach at Limestone. In Johnson's first year, Limestone was ranked third in the final USILA Poll and finished the year 13-2. The Saints also won the Deep South Conference regular season and tournament championships. Limestone advanced to NCAA Tournament and defeated New York Institute of Technology for the NCAA Division II National Championship.

Prior to his arrival at Limestone, Johnson served five years as an assistant coach at Lynchburg College. At Lynchburg, Johnson worked with every aspect of the program and helped guide the program to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1999. In 1998, he earned his Master's of Education degree from Lynchburg College.

Johnson is a native of Chesapeake, Virginia and a 1996 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He was a three-year starting defensemen for the Tigers. In 1995, he assisted in leading the Tigers to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship and a berth to the NCAA Tournament. Johnson served as team captain his senior year.

 

CHRIS PHENICIE - ASSISTANT COACH

Chris Phenicie, a native of Glen Burnie, Maryland, is entering his tenth season on the Limestone lacrosse staff. In addition to working with the lacrosse program, Phenicie serves as Vice President for Enrollment Services.

Coaching primarily the team's midfield unit, Phenicie will head Limestone's extra-man unit also. In 2000 and 2001, Coach Phenicie's extra-man units finished with the highest percentage in Division II. Coach Phenicie also plays an important role in the recruiting process. During Coach Phenicie's career, twenty Limestone midfielders have been named All Deep South Conference , while six midfielders have been selected USILA All-Americans.

Phenicie also served as a student assistant coach at Pfeiffer in 1988. After taking time off from school, Phenicie earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Limestone in 1993.

 

JUDD LATTIMORE - ASSISTANT COACH

Judd Lattimore is serving in his first year as an assistant coach with the Saints. Coach Lattimore will be the offensive coordinator for the Saints. Prior to his arrival at Limestone, Lattimore was an assistant coach at SUNY-Geneseo where he helped guide the Knights to their best season in 20 years.

The Auburn, New York native was a two-sport star at Auburn High School. Lattimore was tabbed three times as an Empire State Game participant in lacrosse for Central New York. In 1995, he captained his Central New York team to a silver medal. Lattimore also won two gold medals while competing in the Empire State Games. In addition to being selected to the Empire State Games, Lattimore was named high school All-American in lacrosse and swimming while serving as team captain for both teams. At the conclusion of his senior year, Lattimore participated in the prestigous North-South All-Star game.

Lattimore continued his lacrosse career at the University of North Carolina. A two-year starter at midfield, Lattimore was a key member of the 1998 sqaud that advanced to the NCAA Tournament. In 2001, he was chosen as a Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse/Face-Off Yearbook.

In the spring of 2001, Lattimore graduated from North Carolina with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication Studies.

 

CHRIS CAMPBELL - STUDENT ASSISTANT

Chris Campbell is serving in his second year on the Saints' staff. Campbell had one of the brightest playing careers in Limestone Lacrosse history. He was a four-time Deep South Conference Selection as well as being named Deep South Conference Rookie of the Year in 1998. Campbell was selected USILA All-American four times also. As a junior and senior, he was selected to the First Team All-American squad. In September of 2001, Campbell was drafted 65th overall by the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League draft.

During Campbell's tenure as a player, his teams won the Deep South Conference Championship three times and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship in the 2000 and 2001 seasons. The Saints won the Division II Championship in 2000.

Coach Campbell is a native of Sudlersville, Maryland.
