T.W. JOHNSON - HEAD COACH

T.W. Johnson is entering his third year as Head Coach at Limestone. In his first two seasons, Limestone was ranked in the top five in the final United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Poll. In two years, Johnson has a combined record of 26-5. The Saints won the Deep South Conference Championship in 2002 and 2003 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament both years. In 2002, Limestone defeated New York Institute of Technology for the NCAA Division II National Championship. This past season, the Saints were defeated by New York Institute of Technology in the National Championship and finished as National Runners-up.

Prior to his arrival at Limestone, Johnson served as an assistant coach at Lynchburg College for five years, where he worked in every aspect of the program and helped guide the program to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1999.
Johnson, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, is a 1996 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. At Hampden-Sydney, he was a three-year starting defenseman for the Tigers and served as team captain in his senior year. In 1995, he assisted in leading the Tigers to the Old Dominion Athletic conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. In 1998, he earned a Master's of Education degree from Lynchburg College.

Johnson currently sits on the Board of Directors of the United States Lacrosse South Carolina Chapter. He is also a member of the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee.

JUDD LATTIMORE - ASSISTANT COACH

Judd Lattimore is serving in his second year as an assistant coach with the Saints. Coach Lattimore will be the offensive coordinator for the Saints. Prior to his arrival at Limestone, Lattimore was an assistant coach at SUNY-Geneseo where he helped guide the Knights to their best season in 20 years.

In 2003 Lattimore helped guide the Saints offense to a tremendous season. The Saints attack proved to be one of the most dangerous in the country averaging 12.38 goals per game. Lattimore also mentored three All-Americans on offense including First Team selection, Devan Spilker.
The Auburn, New York native was a two-sport star at Auburn High School. Lattimore was tabbed three times as an Empire State Game participant in lacrosse for Central New York. In 1995, he captained his Central New York team to a silver medal. Lattimore also won two gold medals while competing in the Empire State Games. In addition to being selected to the Empire State Games, Lattimore was named high school All-American in lacrosse and swimming while serving as team captain for both teams. At the conclusion of his senior year, Lattimore participated in the prestigous North-South All-Star game.

Lattimore continued his lacrosse career at the University of North Carolina. A two-year starter at midfield, Lattimore was a key member of the 1998 sqaud that advanced to the NCAA Tournament. In 2001, he was chosen as a Preseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse/Face-Off Yearbook.

In the spring of 2001, Lattimore graduated from North Carolina with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication Studies.

CHRIS CAMPBELL - STUDENT ASSISTANT

Chris Campbell is serving in his second year on the Saints' staff. Campbell had one of the brightest playing careers in Limestone Lacrosse history. He was a four-time Deep South Conference Selection as well as being named Deep South Conference Rookie of the Year in 1998. Campbell was selected USILA All-American four times also. As a junior and senior, he was selected to the First Team All-American squad. In September of 2001, Campbell was drafted 65th overall by the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League draft.

During Campbell's tenure as a player, his teams won the Deep South Conference Championship three times and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship in the 2000 and 2001 seasons. The Saints won the Division II Championship in 2000.

Coach Campbell is a native of Sudlersville, Maryland.

 

JASON CHILDS - ASSISTANT COACH

Jason Childs is in his first year as an Assistant Coach at Limestone College. Childs comes to Limestone from the Darlington School (Rome, Georgia) where he served as Offensive Coordinator for the lacrosse team from 2001-2003. While at Darlington, Childs taught American and British Literature while serving as a Resident Faculty Member. He also gained valuable experience while acting as the Defensive Coordinator for the basketball team, as well as serving as an assistant coach for the middle school football team.

Childs earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania while performing as a four-year starter at Attack and Midfield for the Dickinson Lacrosse team. He was a two-time captain and won the Unsung Hero Award in 1999.
Childs set a school and Centennial Conference record for assists in a game with 12 (2001). He also ranks third in career assists, seventh in all-time scoring at Dickinson, and second in single game scoring (13). Before entering Dickinson, Childs graduated from St. Paul's School For Boys in Baltimore, where he played varsity soccer, basketball, and lacrosse.
