Chris Phenecie, Interim Head Coach

Chris Phenicie assumed interim head coach duties for the Limestone lacrosse program in April. Phenicie is no stranger to the men’s lacrosse program at Limestone. From 1991 to 2003, he served as assistant coach. For the past several years, he has served as Vice President for Enrollment Services and in that position he has been responsible for the enrollment and retention programs that reach all students.

 

Brad Nasato, Assistant Coach

Brad Nasato is in his second year as an assistant coach at Limestone. The Shelburne, Ontario native returns to Limestone after graduating from “The Rock” in 2001.
During his playing career at Limestone, the Saints captured three Deep South Conference titles and were crowned NCAA Division II National Champions in 2000. Known for his leadership and strong work ethic, Nasato was the 2001 Limestone Coaches Award recipient and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology that same year.
Nasato most recently was part of the coaching staff of the lacrosse and hockey programs at The Culver Academies in Culver, Ind. While at Culver, Nasato served as Offensive Coordinator for the 2004 Indiana State Champion lacrosse team. Prior to joining Culver, Nasato was Defensive Coordinator for the Texas Christian University Men’s Club lacrosse team. While at TCU, Brad earned his master’s in sport psychology.

 
Chris Barrett, Assistant Coach
Chris Barrett is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Saints.
Barrett played at Limestone College from 2001-2004. A fast and athletic midfielder, he was a staple in the Saints lineup for four years, including the 2002 national championship team.
Barrett was named a team captain and earned All-Deep South Conference honors for his efforts in his senior campaign.
 
Pat Cardiff, Assistant Coach
Pat Cardiff is a first-year assistant coach for Limestone this season.
Cardiff played for the Saints from 2002-2005, helping Limestone to the NCAA Championship title in 2002. In 2005, he scored a career-high 34 goals with 15 assists and was named to the Deep South Conference All-Tournament Team and All-Conference.
