1998 Captains

Megan Crouse- Megan, a sophomore, is a second year captain for the Saints. A Gambrills, MD native Megan played last year on the inaugural squad for women's lacrosse at Limestone College.
In her freshman season, she started in all 11 games as a midfielder and recorded 42 points (32 goals and 10 assists.) As the Saints second leading scorer Megan was named "Co-Rookie of the Year" by her teammates during the 1997 campaign. Megan has made many drastic changes in her game since coming to Limestone. A gifted athlete, Megan played defense for Arundel High School earning All County honors in her senior season.

When she arrived at Limestone, Coach Scerbo moved her to midfield where she had to spend the fall season learning the position. "Megan is a very dedicated player, the type of player every coach wants on the field. After she learned how to shoot she became a force at the midfield.," said Coach Scerbo.
A business major, Megan also maintains a GPA above 3.0 and is a member of the academic honor roll.

Eliza McCormack- Known as "Mack" to her teammates, Eliza, a sophomore, is the definition of leadership for the Saints this season.
A Levittown, NY native Eliza attended Division Avenue High School where she played basketball and volleyball. A first year captain, Eliza returns to Limestone as last season's "Defensive MVP". Unlike most of her teammates, Eliza did not play lacrosse in high school.

Her first season with the team in 1997 was also her first season ever participating in the sport of lacrosse. Blessed with excellent athletic ability, Eliza quickly became a student of the game and made herself a major threat to opposing attackers. In 1997 Eliza started all 11 games for the Saints as she led the team in interceptions with 20. "Eliza is a true student of the game. I rarely find a first year player with the desire to learn and study the game the way Eliza does.
This year we will look to her not only as a great defender but also as a major team leader," said Coach Scerbo.
